I am drawn to the way light plays on the rough surface of the gum nuts,Eucalyptus trees are known for their ability to thrive in harsh conditions, and I wanted to capture the spirit of resilience in this painting.I have added texture behind the gum nuts giving a wonderful rough feel to them compared to the smoothness of the leaves.
