I can help with that. If you would like to send me a photo of your room with the measurements and where you are thinking you might like to hang the painting, I can make an insitu photo with the artwork on your wall, so you can see how it would look. If you are local, I am happy to visit your home with the painting so we can see how it would work in your space, and with any other paintings you have in the same area.
This comes up with partners sometimes, however I find when they see the painting in situ and what a fabulous statement it makes they realize botanicals are not just for bedrooms, after all we have flowers and plants in many rooms in our homes. I can also show photos of botanical artworks in other homes to show how they look and work with many different style homes.
A commission would be the perfect solution to this problem. I will work with you on the size, color and design to create a unique bespoke artwork for your room. I will keep in touch during the painting process with photographic updates on how it is progressing. You will get the opportunity to make small changes at this stage.
I can arrange for other framing options, we can discuss what you have in mind and what would suit the artwork, I can then get a quotation from my framer, alternatively you can have it framed by yourself by your local framer.
Shipping is free Australia wide.
I do ship internationally, the cost depends on the size of the painting, the weight and destination, individual quotes are given. You can rest assured the artworks are packed by professionals and shipped via trusted couriers. The canvas can also be taken off the frame, rolled and sent in a tube, then you can have it re-stretched by your local framer. This is an economical way of sending your artwork.
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind.
If the parcel arrives damaged, please do not open it straight away, please take photographs of the damaged packaging and send to wooart82@gmail.com When signing for the delivery you should note on the drivers docket that the parcel has arrived damaged, and make sure the driver signs against the notation.
I just love the ever changing botanical landscape, and am intrinsically drawn to paint large scale blooms to captivate, that inspire reflection on how the fragile blooms represent the cycle of life, from bud, to blossom to petals wilting and falling I love the dramatic shapes and textures in nature
I also love animals they bring so much joy into our lives, they don’t judge us, they love us unconditionally, are loyal and you are never alone if you have a pet in the house.
I love the creamy richness of oil, the depth of color you can achieve, the slower drying time than with acrylic. I use water mixable oils, they are the same as a traditional oil paint as far as the paint on the canvas looks, but you can clean up without toxic chemicals which I prefer not to breath in.
