Losing Her Marbles

In this striking artwork, a blue glass jar overflowing with marbles takes centre stage. The jar itself is rendered with a level of detail that allows the viewer to appreciate its smooth curves and delicate texture, while the marbles seem to glow with their own inner light. Some of the marbles have spilled out onto the surface below, creating a lively and engaging composition.  Whilst painting this little beauty, the title came to mind as I often say this to my friends!  Framed in a Tasmanian oak float frame.
