Chartreuse I & II - Diptych

I decided to paint these beautiful poppies in colours not seen naturally in the flower, using a variety of blues. greens and burnt siennas. As I was painting the liqueur Chartreuse came to mind, I could almost taste the flavours of lime, citrus spice and fresh cut herbs. Painting in Close focus gives a contemporary abstracted feel.  Sold as a Diptych. Overall measurement for the paintings together including a 20cm space between them is 120cm width x 60cm height. - One of a Kind original painting.- Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.- This painting is on stretched artist quality canvas with internal wooden frame.- Gallery finished edges (grey), so looks great from all sides.
